Township residents and friends enjoyed the wonderful activities, delicious food, and entertaining shows at last year's Youth Day, which was named "The Community Today, the World Tomorrow " by a Hartwood Elementary School student. This year's Youth Day is scheduled for June 14, 2008.  Calle Zmenkowski, a third grade student from Hartwood Elementary has won the naming rights.  Youth Day 2008 is "Our World Today Is Our Community Every Day ".

We are once again sponsoring a raffle this year. Each ticket is $5, and for the entire month of July 2008, if the 3 digit evening PA lottery number matches your number, YOU WIN! That’s 31 chances to win! Wednesday and Saturday winners receive $100. Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and Sunday winners receive $50. You do not have to keep track, we will automatically mail you a check at the end of the month.
