Youth Day was created by Indiana Township citizens in 1996.

The first Youth Day ever was held before the turn of the century. In the beginning, the program started with little over a handful of participants.

Now this event has grown from a family picnic to an incredible social extravaganza with well over 5,000 attendants.

This celebration supports the D.A.R.E. program which stands for Drug Abuse Resistance Education. This program has been a part of our local Fox Chapel Elementary schools for years. The money collected from local sponsors for Youth Day helped fund the D.A.R.E. program.
